If you are unable to open the link on telegram, this issue arises because of a bug, or a web browser that is integrated into Telegram. On the other hand, it can also be caused by slow network connections or servers that are currently offline.

In this post, I will share various methods to fix the telegram link issue.

The cloud-based messaging service known as Telegram is widely regarded as one of the best in the world. It is very popular, and 600 million people use it on a monthly basis, and it is compatible with all of the major operating systems.

Despite its status, this does not prevent Telegram from experiencing unforeseen faults or the rare loss of service.

Telegram, like any other app, is susceptible to issues, and we can safely presume that you are currently dealing with one of these issues.

If you are having trouble opening links on Telegram, apply the following solutions one by one.

We will start with simple solutions first.

1. Check if there is a problem with Telegram Server

There may be a problem with the website’s servers or with Telegram’s servers if you are unable to open links that have been sent to you over Telegram. You may check the current status of websites with Downdetector regardless of the circumstance that you find yourself in.

“The above chart shows a view of problem reports submitted in the past 24 hours compared to the typical volume of reports by time of day. It is common for some problems to be reported throughout the day. Downdetector only reports an incident when the number of problem reports is significantly higher than the typical volume for that time of day”

If the servers are down, the best thing you can do is wait because you can’t fix problems that are caused by your end of the connection to the server.

If, on the other hand, the servers are operational, you can move on to the following step of the solution below.

2. Edit Telegram Link

You have to replace the link “t” with “telegram”

Now, copy the link and paste it into whichever browser you like, but do not press enter.

Edit the link and change it as follows.

From t.me/trainmesocial to https://telegram.me/trainmesocial

If the app prompts you to select an application to “Open With,” do so.

After that, select the option that says “remember my choice,” and then click on Telegram.

Repeat the method for each link, and it will automatically take you to the Telegram app after you click one of them.

3. Restart Your Smart Phone

Mostly, restarting your device can fix small problems with applications like Telegram or any other program. This will refresh the system resources on your device and get rid of any temporary faults or malfunctions that it may be experiencing.

For iPhone:

  • Press and hold the Side button and Volume Down buttons at the same time.
  • When the slide to power off slider appears, release the Side and Volume Down buttons.
  • Move the slider from left to right to shut down the phone.
  • When the iPhone is off, hold down the Side button again until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the Side button and let the phone start up.

In the final step, pick the option to restart.

For Android:

  • To begin, look for the button labeled “Power” on your Android device.
  • Next, keep holding it down until the page with the options appears.
  • Lastly, in order to restart your machine, touch the Restart button.

When you are finished, head back to Telegram and try opening the link once more to see if the issue still persists. Apply the following solution

4. Open Link in an External Browser

When you click on a link within Telegram, you will be taken to the application’s default web browser. However, it’s possible that the version of Telegram that you’re running has a bug that’s causing the web browser to act erratically.

Follow these steps:

  • Open Telegram and select the link and hold on to it then copy it and open the chrome browser in incognito mode.
