Firework is short format 30 seconds video sharing social media app. The App is focused around quality content.

As a creator, you don’t have to run behind sponsors, being a quality creator, App offers you to get a sponsor. To learn more how it works, Keep reading.

Firework is another effort to challenge the unrivalled dominance of Meta, creating viable alternatives to social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram.

It took a Chinese startup, out of all the many app developers that have emerged in the past few years, to start giving Instagram competition.
It should go without saying that I’m referring to TikTok.

The absurdity of this situation is that China blocks ALL apps from western countries, but it has nevertheless managed to achieve success in western countries.

It is tough for an application to be successful.

Firework App review

When you have finished installing the application, you will be prompted to set up a new account and choose a few of the categories that are of particular interest to you.

Your selection will have an impact on the kind of video that is played next.

1. How Firework App Works

Head over to Playstore or Appstore and download the app.
You will have to sign up with User & Password. Pick some of your interests.

The homepage: The place where you’ll find the videos that have been recommended to you by the algorithm based on your interests and the popularity of the videos.

The discover page: where you’ll find a series of hashtags with related videos and some recommended Creators to follow.

Your profile page: Where you’ll find all of your uploaded videos and from where you can also read your direct messages; and the explore page, where you’ll find a series of hashtags with related videos and some recommended Creators to follow; and the explore page; and the discover page

the notifications page, which allows you to view who has re-posted your films as well as who has followed you.

2. Firework Is Completely Different

App is all about content quality.
There is also the option, available to select profiles, to create a closed community that is accessible solely by the users that follow that profile.

The absence of comments and likes is one of the most notable characteristics of the Firework app.
Reposting other profiles’ videos and communicating with them through direct messages are the only ways to engage with other users’ profiles on this platform.

To put it another way, anything that is proven to increase the number of followers on other social networking platforms is ineffective here.

3. No follow-unfollow nor likes-for-likes

This, however, indicates that there is not a great deal of pressure to raise your numbers, and you are free to concentrate more on producing content, which, in the end, ought to be the thing that matters the most.

You can only get an accurate sense of how popular a video is by looking at two metrics: the number of times it has been viewed and the number of times it has been shared.

Everyone can see how many times a video has been viewed, but only the person who originally posted it can see how many times it has been shared (it also sometimes appears on the most popular videos).

From this vantage point, it would appear that Firework is following in the footsteps of Instagram, which conceals the overall amount of likes on posts.

Everyone can see how many people are following the account.

4. Reveal is Unique Feature on Firework

The use of a proprietary mechanism known as Reveal is the primary differentiating factor between this app and every other app (I wonder when Instagram will steal this idea too).

In a nutshell, when the video has been uploaded, you will have the option to pick the Reveal feature, which will allow you to watch the movie in either portrait or landscape mode, “revealing” different parts of the screen as you rotate the device.

You will find a link to the official video that explains how this system is put into action down below.

When I initially saw how Reveal operates, my initial reaction was that it was an excellent concept for a product.

The flexibility to post videos in a single format that can be seen in either portrait or landscape mode is something that appeals to me because I’m not a fan of vertical videos.

However, after giving it a shot for a time, I have to admit that there are certain restrictions imposed by technology.

5. Publish the fireworks application.

As can be seen from the picture that is located above, a sizeable section of the movie is not displayed (not in portrait mode nor in landscape mode).

It is obvious that it is possible to compensate for the missing areas by adding a frame to the movie; but, if you rotate it, you will be able to see the frame that was added.

It is not the end of the world, and I personally like this system a lot, but it is something to keep in mind when editing the video so that important parts (such as text and subtitles) are not too close to the screen, otherwise they will not be shown. It is not the end of the world, and I personally like this system a lot.

6. How to create videos with the help of the app Firework

There are a lot of cool options to choose from while editing the video, and I’m sure that many more will be added in the future.
It won’t take you long to figure out how to use any of them because they are all quite user-friendly, especially if you already have experience with TikTok.

Comparison: Firework vs TikTok

The similarities between the two mobile applications are difficult to deny.
Both allow users to make quite complex videos right within the app itself, which is a distinct advantage.

The primary distinctions between the two apps are the Reveal function, the average age of users (TikTok is more popular among youngsters, whilst Firework aims to attract a slightly more older audience), and the absence of commenting and liking capabilities on Firework.
At this time, videos uploaded to Firework are limited to a maximum duration of thirty seconds.

My Thoughts about Firework

Is it worthwhile to make use of Firework?
To tell you the truth, there are aspects of the app that I enjoy and there are aspects of the app that I do not enjoy, but all in all, it is a wonderful programme to use.
It would appear that even Google is considering purchasing Firework in order to strengthen its ability to compete with TikTok.
I requested a response from Firework regarding this matter, but they did not provide one.

Plus Side:
The Reveal option is one of my favourites.

There is no such thing as “vanity metrics,” which would include things like comments and likes.

I really appreciate the potential of becoming Brand Ambassadors and getting paid to upload content (the precise amount of money you’ll make depends on a variety of circumstances and can range anywhere from a few dollars to tens of thousands of dollars).

Each Brand Ambassador has access to a private forum, where they are able to communicate with their “colleagues” and other Brand Ambassadors.
In addition to this, an employee of the organisation will be delegated to work with him to improve the quality of the content he posts.
Even a video call can be scheduled if the need arises (try that with any other social network).
It is quite clear that in order to gain access to these “benefits,” you must first be accepted as an Ambassador.

The Other Side

Other than reposting their films or sending direct messages (DM), there is no other option to engage in conversation with other users.

It’s possible that the amount of views and re-posts will “explode” either quickly after the video is uploaded or several weeks afterwards.
On the other hand, there is not a strong link between the number of followers and the number of views.
The number of people who have watched some of my films is quite tiny, while others have thousands of views, and the same thing happens to profiles that have thousands of followers.

There is room for improvement in the Discover section.

After you have created your account, you may contact support and ask to become a Brand Ambassador. If you already have a sizable following on other platforms, this will allow you to finally begin getting paid to submit videos to a social network.
